Egg-citing Learning Underway at WHES

Students at Haverstraw Elementary School and West Haverstraw Elementary School have taken on an egg-citing new responsibility in partnership with Quiver Farms.

Each school is incubating eggs that will soon hatch into baby chicks, giving students a front-row seat to one of nature’s most amazing transformations.

At West Haverstraw Elementary School, students are currently learning about life cycles, making this the perfect opportunity to connect classroom lessons to real-world experiences.
We can’t wait to see these little chicks hatch and watch our students’ excitement grow every step of the way!
