Dear WHES Families,

Welcome back to West Haverstraw Elementary School! We are so excited to begin a wonderful new school year with our students and families. We hope everyone had a fun, relaxing, and memorable summer!
We are excited to introduce our monthly WHES Family Newsletter! Each month, we will share important information, upcoming events, celebrations, reminders, and all the exciting things happening at WHES. We encourage you to take a few minutes each month to read the newsletter so you can stay connected and up to date on everything happening in our school community.

WHES Open House – Tomorrow!

Tuesday, September 1st | 1:00–3:00 PM
We invite all WHES students and their families to join us for our Open House tomorrow from 1:00–3:00 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to:

• Meet their new teacher and see their classroom
• Tour the building
• Become familiar with their school and surroundings
• Get excited and ready for the first day of school on September 8, 2026!

We hope to see many of our WHES families there! We can't wait to welcome you into the building and kick off another great year together.
